The KDE tool is kprinter. http://printing.kde.org/screenshots/pics/printdialog.png It is more powerful than our dialog (for example, it allow selecting the printer from a listbox). We can use it just as we currently use an external program for fax sending, namely no need to add new code. Similar printing tools are qtcups, gtkcups, and xpp.
