No, it's a hint to the unexperienced user. The point is not "r4S{", but typos like "3cn" or "3,5" (the comma is common in some countries) or a accidental key stroke which would be not possible with an enabled filter etc. Personally, I've found this hint useful several times, but maybe it is because I am more blind when working.
