Jürgen and others,

Some time ago I posted my desire to remove the text_warning areas in the Xforms
dialogs. You (Jürgen) replied then that:

So I would like to proceed with my original idea in my new Xforms-dialog-layouts,
by implementing the following:

1) power input is still allowed; i.e. adding units into the input fields.

2) invalid input turns the background color of the corresponding input field into
red, instead of posting a message in the text_warning area.

As a test example, I have attached how this may look like in the graphics dialog
(the text_warning is still there in the example, but that should then go!)

------

Simply turning the background color of the input field red, is enough indication
to the user that the input is somehow wrong.
We don't need to give full explanation why/where/what is going wrong, because after
all, this style of input is for power-users, who are familiar with what they are doing.
"Powerless-users" should type a regular value here and select the unit from the choice
menu.

Shall I proceed with this?

Thanks,
Rob.
