Because he suggested disabling the height button when the "keep aspectratio"
button is not selected.

This might not be possible when, for example, you select the width to
be 30% column-width. What would you write in the height field ?

And I'm still right.
We removed in the past far more useful code, just to avoid bloat
(e.g. the fax dialog).
