Because .tex contains the \begin{proof}...\end{proof} whereas .lyx only has
\layout proof which is changed to \layout standard if read tith the wrong class
and not to a sequence ert-standard-ert.

Apart from that, .tex is not exactly an 'extra format', is it?

One can 'lock' insets to make them into a unit concerning 'ordinary cursor
movement'. Unfortuantely, that state is not saved (but I intend to change
that).

I want the proof survive the cycle  mylayout->otherlayout->mylayout.
