Does this mean that python will be required for future lyx versions?

Also having #!/usr/bin/python in the script is not really an option,
since python may be in /usr/local/bin in many non-linux systems.
Wouldn't be possible to find something else (I'd rather avoid
generating the script from configure like we do for reLyX).
