Could people please make their minds up whether "inset unification" as I have it in mind (i.e. heavy re-use of mathed infrastructure for the "real" LyX insets) is a Good or a Bad Thing?
If the latter, it would be nice if a few (if possible technical) reasons were given. I gave a few for the 'pro' side in a previous mail, so I think they do not need to be repeated. There is no need to hurry as I am off for the weekend now and can't do anything anyway before Monday.
