The keyboard don't seem to have any useful function in the
math panels, so it'd be nice if keystrokes there
were processed by the main lyx window. That'd let people
type and click in symbols without bothering to move
the mouse back and forth. Not a necessity of course, but
it'd make lyx even nicer.

Small utility windows which is nothing but a collection of
buttons shouldn't actually get keyboard focus at all.

There are some windows in lyx that need click to focus, even
when using a mouse-focus window manager like icewm.
When I bring up the preamble window I have to click it,
merely pointing the cursor at it is not enough. Now and
then a "\usepackage" goes into the text because I
forget this.
