Maybe it has escaped your attention that a few people were not too happy with the size increase. There have been actually quite a few messages on this list, some even from someone faking your headers... - I'd suggest to make some kind of inventory of what functionality we need from boost and what can be achieved "cheaper". Simply saying we need boost, and that's why we do everything to make boost happy does not sound like the only option.
