so == StarOffice?? Are you serious ;-)? Well I'll have a look how it
could be rearranged a little bit better.

Currently it is the other way 'round: if you chose a special option,
then the paper will automatically set to A4 or default. That's why I
didn't take this into account. Should I change this? IMHO the current
behaviour is just as good. But probably not consistent!?

Agreed. I'll have a look.

Yes.

If I enter a custom paper value, papersize should be set to custom. Or
probably better: the custom fields should be deactivated unless I
chose custom...

Agreed! But have we decided when LyX should chose geometry
automatically? I am not very familiar with the geometry package, so I
need some hints.

Geometry should definitely be chosen (?), if:

- Margin values are inserted
- A custom papersize is inserted

What's with the landscape problem Michael has mentioned? I don't see
problems with landscape without Geometry, but I might be blind.

What's with the "Small Margins not working" issue from this weekend?
Herbert recommended to use Geometry, but is this needed with the a4/
a4wide options?

So, now it's the time to step forward and scream if you think Geometry
should not be removed or it should be chosen automatically with any
other option ;-)

It'll be a pleasure to me :-)
