edwin, as a bona fide developer, you are free to do what you like
with the source

I would prefer Allan to work on lyx/bufferview GUIIsation too, but you can't
force him to do so.

this is just totally stupid and a waste of everyone's time. can't we just
drop it ? please ?

unless someone actually steps up with some actual code that is.
