It was released 2015. We won't release 2.5 sooner than 2026 so I think we are out of distros 10y LTS range and can safely declare gcc5 dependency. > we can get rid of trivstring > altogether. I am all for ditching trivstring, but it all depends on Enrico's stance, I didn't folow the previous discussion on strings and COW, so I have little idea what is the right course of action.
