My 2016 version was installed last June, should I upgrade?
I don't think so. I believe you have a version of LuaTeX that will give
the error. To reproduce:
1. set system fonts to e.g. Free sans (go to Document > Settings > Fonts,
check "use non-TeX fonts" and then set all three to FreeSans).
2. Then compile to PDF (LuaTeX)
I get the error all right.
It disappears if I remove the two lines
\@ifpackageloaded{ifpdf}{}{\usepackage{ifpdf}}
\ifpdf\input pdftexconfig.tex\fi
in the layout file.
I checked the lettre.pdf doc file, a4paper can now be an option, so I guess the
workaround is not needed any more. I will check the layout more deeply following
the class changes.
May I commit changes to the layout file, both in branch and master ?
