The Russian splash does not compile with LuaTeX + system fonts + polyglossia + updated TeX Live 2016, unless we change to use babel.
I wonder if this is a regression in a TeX Live package (e.g. fontspec). Or we just didn't notice it failing when we switched from babel to polyglossia, but I remember spending a lot of time checking for these cases after the switch. Does anyone have e.g. 2015 to test with? Assuming you have DejaVu fonts, can you test the attached MWE with LuaTeX? Scott
