IMO there's a lot more to do on the textinset's when we use it in various
different insets. Also such a version would be 1.2.0 as this would be a
really great change and we decided to give such a change a major number
update!

Is it possible for you to compile the cvs-version or do you need a snapshot?
Could you then test if most of the stuff you reporded is fixed now (for
tabular only)?
