I agree with Georg. I think these issues should not block alpha. It
might be reasonable to have a policy of "no failing tests" for beta in
the future. This doesn't mean that we fix all bugs. It just means that
every test failure was looked at. Maybe we looked at a test and decided
it is OK for it to fail so we invert it and thus it no longer fails.
