Feature request for 1.2

Frequently I have to layout photographic material in books, but I don't
need the actual photos, which can reside at the shop doing the printing.
At present, I use xfig to make a dummy block the correct size and export
as an .eps file. It would be really nice if lyx could do this for me.
Ideally, it would just be rectangle with a label inside.
Just a thought.
