Hi,
        there is an open bug report on Fedora

that says that the application icon does not scale well in the gnome 3 dock.

I do not use gnome so I have never seen this before. :-)

In any case if the problem occurs it would be nice to provide a solution for 
it, possibly by using an svg icon (I admit to be ignorant on this issue).
