This seems like a mis-design of the dialog then, by people too close to
the source :)

If a custom margin can only be set by using geometry package, then this
options should be dealt with quietly behind the scenes, and there should
be a "Custom margins" choice underneath the margins combo box, which will
then enable the top-bottom-left-right widgets.

I've got a very prototype KDE FormDocument, I'll implement something like
this there.

After I've finished battling with trying to get a border round the
TabStack widget, grr...
