We can have as many projects as we have mentors willing to supervise them (and as many project-mentor(s)-student units as Google actually approves). And unfortunately sofar it's not clear what supply of mentors we actually have. I know Vincent is willing to mentor at least a project, as is Rob (probably the Outliner stuff). Cyrille is stepping up as backup mentor in case a primary mentor disappears. So the question is who else is willing to volunteer for a mentorship? In any case those willing to mentor (or co-mentor) should sign up on Google Melange ( http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/homepage/google/gsoc2013 ) and "start a connection" to LyX ( http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/org/google/gsoc2013/lyx ). Then Stefano or I can accept you as mentors, so that we could subsequently associate your names to specific project proposals from students. Those interested please let me know (in private, if you prefer). Regards, Liviu
