You're absolutely right.
While using LyX I eventually receive SIGSEGV errors and LyX closes, but they
are somewhat random.
I don't have an idea on how to reproduce them. ;/


Maybe launching a "stable-but-not-so-stable" release is the way to achive a
"really-stable" release. :-)
