The problem is described in the README of 'my' installer. I need
outside help for this, as I'm not the author of the installer - I've
only compiled it and I don't have the time needed to track all of its
internals.

Beware, this unofficial installer is completely unsupported, and
likely to be adandoned in case of the further absence of its author
