Where? If you refer to the comment in BufferParams.cpp:2589 ff., I wanted to express here that we want to support fontspec back to (at least) TeXLive 2009, but that fontspec only supported XeTeX (not LuaTeX) until v.2 (2010/07/11). I thought it is clear from this that the 2009 support only covers XeTeX, while LuaTeX support is limited to v.2 and later.
But maybe this needs some clarification. Jürgen
