I committed the backend=flavor part, since this is a step forward anyway and
removes some bad hardcoding.
That is good. For the html problem (and for the addition of extra
formats for lyx>latex, lyx>text), it might be a good idea to add
converters with a new flag 'internal' to the converter graph. This may
remove an interesting amount of special casing in the converter code
(in the particular all the push_back on the list of backends).
I am not sure this idea is mature enough to be implemented now, it is
probably too vague in many respects.
