I wanted to just post an update on the LyX packages. I spoke with two people
who manage the Universe archive (Ubuntu archive names are very confusing), and
I have filed a sync request with the most recent Debian package. I am
currently working on a Feature Freeze Exception, which would allow for the
newer packages to be accepted into Maverick.

Both individuals I spoke with thought that i would be accepted.

i have also created a PPA and will upload new packages there for users of
Ubuntu 10.04. Once that is finished, I will let you know and provide
instructions.

Cheers,

Rob

PS, are there any thoughts about biblatex support?
