There is a problem with the fact that the preferences dialog overrides
lyxrc settings, as far as I understand it it will ignore lyxrc when
preferences exists.
The problem stems from the fact that the preferences dialog does not
recognize and doesnt save the settings that are needed for multi-lingual
documents in this case hebrew and english.
My main problem is that it saves kbmap_secondary but not kbmap_primary so
I had a problem that in english documents I actually type in hebrew and
get garbage (GIGO). For these cases it would be best to read lyxrc before
reading preferences and only let the preferences override the individual
settings in the lyxrc file. Possibly rewriting the lyxrc file commenting
the overriden commands with an appropriate remark.
The next stage will be to make the preferences dialog recognize all used
commands.
