Sure, I do not care about them, but I do not want them removed. I just do not care either way. > So your proposal boils down to either: > > * Clutter the menu with all converters we have, of which many users will not > need many alternatives Then you have not understood my proposal: I don't want to clutter the menu at all. Tell me, how many HTML converters do you currently have on your machine? If the answer is 0 or 1, you would get exactly the same entries as you already have: 0 or 1. Only if the user has more than one HTML converter, then they would get more than one entry. My understanding is that this is important for them (as it was for me). > * Propagate the menu with only what _you_ think is useful/what you need > (namely, HTML, but not CJKLyX or all LateX->RTF converters, for instance) Again you have misunderstood me: I don't care about CJKLyX and they don't bother me. Same for RTF. In fact as I said I don't have an issue with clutter -- it's nice to know what you can preview or export to. > Exactly. You propose a "make it work for me" solution. Your proposal meanwhile is "do the dirty work I won't bother to do". Not sounding good so far, Jürgen ;) Alex.
