i think the real point is that there is no code implementing it. i'm nearly sure that if you come up with working patch the status of the bug would be irrelevant. imho the fact that the bug remained 5 years unchanged without anybody CC-ed just shows that there is small probability that this feature will ever happen regardless the bug state... pavel
