Hmmm, that is interesting. It certainly puts what Kornel suggested in
a new light. If eLyXer could find lyx2lyx and make it work for
itself...
Maybe the easiest thing for you to do would just be to borrow the
lyx2lyx code, and update that from trunk periodically. Then you just
make it part of your executable and you don't have to worry about
finding it. This is also important if you want eLyXer to be fully
independent of LyX, i.e., to work for people who don't even have LyX
installed.
