We are installing under
$prefix
$prefix/{bin,bind,commands,doc,examples,locale, ...}
This means, there are _many_ places under $prefix.
As it is now, the prefix should be somehow unique to not mess the filesystem
too much.
Therefore no such prefix as "/usr" or "/usr/local".
But then the executable "lyx" is hidden, so that one would have to expand the
PATH extra only for this program.
With this script, we would have everything (but this script) in one directory
and there were no need to change the PATH env.
