Well as you said * Basically *. As Garst pointed out candian is not
supported by babel (or was it canadien the french version), while there
exits dictionaries for this. Now while we could use the right dictionary
for the spellchecking we could also use an aproximation in the babel
package to have the right hypenation and other stuff.
F.Ex.: this would be "canadien", "Canadian Frech", "fr_CA", "french"
