Well I had no time yet to try out CMake and I don't know if CMake interferes with my existing SCons
setup. I also don't know if I can remerge po-files and using CMake. As I provide executables for the
users, it is risky to change a well running system, but I'll try CMake out anyway when I find the time.

I applied Peter's patch but it doesn't fix the problem.
I tried to find the problem by comparing trunk with branch as it works well in branch, also with Qt
4.4.1. So this is definitely not a Qt issue.
The bug has been introduced around March 14 2008 or slightly before.
