It doesn't fix it. I still have to do a change in the preferences
dialog to generate the preferences file. Then I need to restart LyX
and then it works.
Peter, perhaps you have a another idea why I need to have a
preferences file to make LyX output files. Without this (that's the
case when you just installed LyX) LyX created the file, but don't move
it from the temp folder to the destination folder (where the LyX file
is).
Did you try to compile with CMake so that you can at last debug by yourself?
