Yes.
The outliner is useful for anything with sectioning, and the screen is
wide enough that
it can stay up all the time for simplicity. I also have most of the
toolbars visible.
I'll try turning it off the next time I notice delays.
Still, delays may happen even with an empty document, or a one-line
document.
So there is not as if there is much data to "over-process".
Delays don't always happen, LyX is nice and snappy then - whether the
document
is big or small.
Similiar delays can happen when click to position the cursor in tables,
but tables is not necessary for delays to happen. Cursor positioning?
