I've only skimmed these threads (actually, I've been trying to avoid
them...). Anyway, it still seems confusing, which is funny as you both
discuss in a (mostly) constructive way. One thing I do wonder about is you
use words in exactly the same way...
What is the purpose of this thread, is it to get a clear consensus on what
the different proposals do? If that is the case, I agree with Pavel that
a copy of the summaries to a wiki page might help others (me and Pavel)
understand what's going on. OTOH, I should be staying out of this...
