Here is an interesting subject for a poll! :-)
considering the fact that linux users don't need to see lyx homepage ever to get
lyx inside their distro while anyone on win needs to visit download section i
doubt
this poll will give us some meaningful numbers.
That would give us an indication at least. Plus the situation is exactly
the same for Win and Mac corporate users who don't install LyX themselves.
So I would personally be interested in that information. And, as you
said above, Win and Mac users tend to follow the lists, so I guess they
won't be happy to be considered as second class citizens ;-)
