For example, ImageMagick is listed there (in the "comparison" section) in the following way: * Imagemagick, the program used by LyX for all sorts of images, and Ghostscript which is needed to handle PDF and Postscript are bundled together with the installer. This assures that you are using the latest stable version especially of ImageMagick which is released very often (and often with bugs). What difference does this text describe? Does this mean, that ImageMagick and Ghostscript are NOT installed at all via the standard installer? AFAIR this is not the case. Of course I understand that the installer is a moving target. But believe me, this is very confusing for the casual user. Given the complexity of the environment which LyX needs to work out-of-the-box, this seems very important. Regards, Michał Skrzypek
