I think it's important to have some pages look "official", and even more

like to have a distinction between them. However, we could think about
porting the pages in www.lyx.org to one "wiki group", and give that wiki
group a CMS skin.  This might be very convenient for us.

In the same vein we could have a class of contributors such that the sole role is documentation (without any problems to later become developers).

I don't understand your point...? Does this have some bearing on access to the wiki and/or aussie? I'm probably confused because it _is_ possible to introduce "roles" in the wiki, letting different classes of users do different things. ... but on the wiki (even with the web site in it), I can't see the need for something between regular user and developer?
What am I missing?
