No.

Actually, it can be if you use system preferences to set keyboard navigation options. (<Ctrl>F2 is then the default to open the menu.)

I do not think so, but I do not have a mac at hand.

I think the bug is not applicable. In any case, it works fine in my testing.

There are other menu problems that I noticed. When LyX is launched, everything looks fine. But once I modify system preferences I see a "special" menu immediately to the right of the LyX menu, and the LyX menu then has two "Reconfigure" items.

Last time I touched that stuff I asked you to report problems and you said that everything seems fine. Is that to say that the above problems are new?
