Reconfigure did the trick.
Reconfigure should be run automatically on first startup and maybe every
time LyX exits and IMO should not really be a user option.
There is NO WAY I could have figure this out.
I guess it will solve Ben's problem too.
If it is not run automatically, then there is no use to have the exports
tab at all. then rather remove it since it will be dysfunctional for
most users.
Best is as I said, to run reconfigure automatically at every exit (as
you need to restart to activate it)
