I discover only now that we have this framed/shaded thing. What is it
supposed to be useful for? A note was initially supposed to be
something that is not visible in output (or greyed out, which makes
sense). What is the difference between a framed box and a framed note?
Why are the restriction of what output can go inside \framed{} not
taken in account?

When for example word counting will begin to ignore stuff in notes and
inactive branches (already numbering is not remembered in there)
people are going to complain that LyX is buggy. I think we are mixing
appearance and semantics.
