I don't know if you are planning to commit this one but I wanted to let 
you know that I integrated your changes already in my local tree. I am 
basically rewriting a good part of this code and I hope that it will be 
ready soon.
If beta2 is going to be announced RSN then I suggest to apply your 
patch, if not then please wait until the end of the week.
