I will commit the bits that works progressively. By the way, I am not very good at Designer. I want the new QTocUi widget to span the entire dock widget with the four button at the bottom. Problem is that the TreeView stays in place. Someone knows how to do that? I am attaching the ui file in case someone could help (Peter, Jurgen?). I am also attaching the full patch.
