Because qt-3.3.7 is installed in /usr/lib. I removed that before
installing the new build, but want to keep them separate.
Actually, there should be no reason why two versions of the qt libraries
cannot co-exist. I have multiple versions of other libraries because
applications are version specific.
i have them in /usr/lib/qt4.
There is no /usr/local/lib/qt4.
can you post what is your exact command now ?
./configure -prefix /usr -no-stl
