If Bo has the energy and the time to do implement that, that would be a killer feature!
If, like word, each window has its own buffers, I will be motivated (forced?) to do it. However, for lyx, all windows have the same set of buffers and there is no real need for multiple initial windows. I agree that multiple initial windows is good to have but I certainly do not have the energy to do this now. :-( I will be happy if I can finish session/toolbar and persistent-selection before 1.5.0. No plan for anything else. Cheers, Bo
