Please note that the only thing that I want is easy usability. Copying and pasting is such a fundamental feature in a word/text processor/editor that it should be as easy as possible. I like very much the X11 approach where I can copy&paste by selecting with left button, extending the selection by the right button, and pasting with middle button. I really *hate* what Windows pretends I should do: select, use a menu to copy, move to new position, use another menu to paste. However, I can live with C-c and C-v, so if you have strong opinions about a theoretical good behaviour, and by this theory you think that it is a deadly sin to copy selection to clipboard, then I can bear with it. I can understand your point. I don't agree with it, but I am aware that this is a sort of religious belief and also know that this kind of discussion is not going to bring us somewhere. I am for whatever solution makes copy&paste an easy action. But we need a solution because right now copy&paste is a convoluted action. -- Enrico
