You mean that typing in a paragraph calls updateLabels? This should
definitely not happen IMO. We should find out why.
No, this was my initial theory but it appears that this is not the case.
One thing that is probably a big problem is the construction of macro
table by Buffer::buildMacros at each update.
I'll try to disable that to see if that helps.
