It is not me who is lucky, but the users. I can't care less if nomencl
support is in lyx 1.5, since I will not use it in near future. I have
just used nomencl it in the past with lyx and it hurt a bit. With my
code, I am just paying back to this great software. which I think I
owe a lot.
I am following the spirit of the law. If your code is small and
self-contained I don't have a problem considering it. I am doing this since
you have working in the list, you have announced it before, and showed some
of it for comment.
It is not that big. I will send the patch and you decide, whether it
can go in or not. If it can not go in, we can put it in trunk after
the release of 1.5.
If for some reason it can be included then we should really focus on smaller
development cycles, more focused.
Agreed.. The only problem is handling the conversion scripts would be
too difficult. But xml format can solve this problem, if it is
designed well.
We are in good shape for 1.6 since we have a target there, xml file format.
A 6 month development cycle would be ideal.
