But we do not have any control on this menu, do we? I thought it was
handled by qt.

Looking at the sources, it seems that this is handled by 
http://doc.trolltech.com/3.3/qmainwindow.html#createDockWindowMenu
in qt3. I do not know what the situation is in 1.4.

So how are we going to provide our improved menu? Can we use a
tri-state for auto-toolbars? How do other applications (say, Word)
handle these automatic toolbars?
