It is easy for me to create a GUI for toolbar customization in the Windows installer, but that is indeed not a good solution.
I don't have any experience with Qt and the LyX frontends, so unfortunately I can't provide a patch to put this in the LyX GUI itself. Do you have time for such a thing Abdel?
